In programming, a structured language is one that supports the division into blocks (procedures and functions) that may or may not communicate with each other.
In addition the programming is controlled with sequence, selection and iteration. It allows to reuse programmed code and gives a better understanding of the programming.
It is contrary to the unstructured paradigm, of little use, which has no structure, it is simply a "block", such as batch files (.bat).
