Start Key Definition

Key found in typical computer keyboards, which works as opposed to the End key (End key).It is one of the editing keys.

In small keyboards, as in many notebooks, this key may not be present.Replace by pressing the Fn + ← key (function key + left arrow key).

In English keyboards it is: Home key (home key).

Home key functions o Home

In text editors for Windows and Linux, the Home key or Start key is mainly used to return the cursor to the beginning of the line where the cursor is located.

When the text is not editable, the Start key is used to return to the beginning of the document (this can also be done in editable texts, if you press CTRL + Start Key).

For example, on a web page ( not editable), if we are in the middle of the document, pressing the Home or Home key will return to the beginning of the document (moving the scroll bar vertical up).

If the Home key is pressed together with Shift in an editable text, the text from where the cursor is located to the beginning of the line of text is selected (to the left).
